This page will give a brief explanation and description of the three primary weapons that is used in Freestyle Jujitsu (Kick
Jitsu) .
Kick jitsu is a combination of a striking style of martial arts and a Grappling style of martial arts.
Kick jitsu is a Great and practical form of self defence, but also has a fun and exciting sporting format, points are
awarded for strikes to the head and body but the highest points are given for a CLEAN throw or take down, if and when the
oponent is on the ground a HOLD DOWN can be used , a count of five seconds is given to escape the hold , if the fighter who
is pinned cannot escape after the five seconds
The other fighter wins.
Alternativelly Full contact Bouts are Available to the conditioned fighter , where a win is collected by pinning your
opponent/ Forcing him to tap out / Clean knockout with a strike. also a win can be collected by rendering the opponent unconsious
by use of a sleeper hold.
I have writen this explanation in easy to understand terms not to cause confusion in a person who has no knowledge of
Freestyle jujitsu (Kick Jitsu).
Even though kick jitsu is an exciting sporting format, our main school concentrates
more on self protection,But tournaments are available for the student who wishes to compete to test his/her
skills and maybe become a champion.
